I tried disabling nat acceleration and it worked. However i found out it severely reduces the throughput of the router, it got super slow. So that wasn't a viable fix for me. I was running latest merlin firmware for my rt-ac66u router, and i also tried both the A and L builds of John's fork without luck. This means Asuswrt-Merlin retains full support for NAT acceleration (sometimes referred to as “hardware acceleration”), enhanced NTFS performance (through the proprietary drivers used by Asus from either Paragon or Tuxera), and the Asus exclusive features such as AiCloud or the Trend Micro-powered AiProtection.
6) Disable NAT Acceleration 7) Updated my router 8) Reset my router 9) Restarted my router Nothing seems to work at all. I tried contacting Asus, but apparently they can't help with port forwarding. Please help. I know this is a router problem because when I connect to my modem, everything if open (unsurprisingly). What am i doing wrong? I’m using Merlin as well. 380.70, which is the last version he released for my model. My option is under the firewall section of Merlin. I suspect NAT loopback is still there, but for some reason, it’s not working for you. Try disable NAT acceleration and power off then power the router back on.
